3 Day Spring Cleanse

    Doing a cleanse/fast in the Spring is a great reset button for your system. I find that when I'm done fasting, I eat less and much better than before. Food is so appreciated...It's like the flavors are exploding in your mouth. It seems quite natural that the food reserves would be dwindling just as the new greens of Spring would appear. For 3 days I juiced, had broth & miso, and ate a big salad for dinner. My energy was quite low and uninspired but it is a reset button for sure. It helps you quit all kinds of things, if you are trying. I highly recommend it if you have the quiet space in your life for it. I don't recommend cooking for your family while you are doing it though! I made that mistake. Get their meals lined up ahead of time so you are not tortured or stimulated by it. Have all your veggies ahead of time too. Try not to do anything too strenuous and nap if you are called to. Adding in a detox tea will make more of your efforts. And of course drink whenever you feel that hunger creep up. Make it a goal and go for it! Let me know in the comments below how you feel after your cleanse....
